H1. How to make a sweep from the MASTER to cond24boot
- Login to bbrdbops04
- cd to ~/BabarProd1/24.3.2
Taking the snapshot and transfer to kan cluster
KanMasterToCond24boot -t -x
This takes a snapshot and transfers it to HPSS and the kan cluster.
Replicating the snapshot
KanTransferCdbCluster --bootfile <bootfile> --n 10
The bootfile is the one from the taken snapshot e.g.: /kanga/snapshots/prod/cdb/conversion/full/2008/11/20081107T165240/CDB-20081107T165240-cdb_boot.root
Update the link
KanMasterToCond24boot -l -d <snapshotDir>
where <snapshotDir> is the snapshot directory e.g.: /kanga/snapshots/prod/cdb/conversion/full/2008/11/20081107T165240.
This will update the rules files in $BFROOT/kanga/cdb and therefore one must have a proper afs token.
load to the BBK
KanMasterToCond24boot -b all -d <snapshotDir>
